Hotspot Monitor · last updated October 2026
Hotspot Monitor doesn't collect, sell or share personal information, and has no accounts, ads or analytics.
Your hotspot's address, its dashboard login (kept in the iPhone Keychain), your settings, buttons, favorites and net logs are stored only on your iPhone.
If you turn Location on, your position is used on your iPhone for your grid square, city and distance to callers. It isn't sent anywhere.
If you install the optional Pi helper and turn this on, your hotspot sends the current caller's details and your iPhone's Live Activity push token to this relay, which passes them to Apple's push service to update your Lock Screen. The relay doesn't store them. Like any web service, its host (Google Cloud) keeps short-lived technical logs such as IP addresses.
